Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born December 13, 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift has been a singer/songwriter from the pop/country genre for more than 20 years. Her tales about romantic love in the midst of heartbreak and young love have gained her widespread popularity during the 21st Century. Swift's love for music started at an early stage. From plays for children to performing before thousands, Swift made rapid progress. Swift was eleven years old when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers Basketball game. The following year Swift began to write songs and picked up the guitar. Swift wrote original songs which was influenced by country performers such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) as well as Dixie Chicks. Her material was a reflection of Swift's experiences as a tween alienation. Swift moved from Pennsylvania together with her parents, and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she reached 13 and decided to spend more time to reaching out to label representatives from the country genre.
